CACTUS BUCKS
Just what is a cactus buck? A cactus buck is a deer that for some reason was born without testicles, or maybe just has small or damaged testicles. Sometimes a normal buck is somehow castrated and becomes a cactus buck. Cactus bucks usually do not shed their antlers, generally do not scrape their antlers, and they do not mate. Cactus bucks make very rare and unique trophies. Dan King has taken a Rocky Mountain Mule Deer Cactus Buck with a Muzzleloader, a Coues Deer Cactus Buck with a Handgun, and a Desert Mule Deer Cactus Buck with a Bow.
